On October 1, Mark Anthony Fernandez said he has been looking for religion since 16 years old.
During the media conference for the upcoming movie House Tour, Fernandez shared when he started to ask questions about his faith.
“‘Yung being, wanting to be a Born Again, Kumbaga very innocent pa ako, Hindi ko po alam ‘yung Born Again, 16 palang, hinahanap ko na–17 ganon ‘yung talaga religious type.
“I don’t consider myself na Tiger ako, or Lion literally. I consider myself like a dove. Bata pa lang ako feeling ko dove ako. Feeling ko good guy ako. 16-17, either may problema ako, or magpapasalamat ako, hinahanap ko kung saan ako magpapasalamat.”
He added that he met good people and that he is currently focusing on self-improvement amid the pandemic.
“I came to meet new friends, real friends. Buti nalang I met real people. Real like angelic people. Even seeing them gives me joy. Talagang chine-cherish mo pa ‘yung kausap mo pa. Ngayon mas nache-cherish ko pa ‘yung mga moments before na hindi ko nache-cherish in regard to relationships.
“Mas nagiging busy ako with myself. In regard to making me stronger, healthier all the time, para armored tayo kumbaga.”
As for the current locked-in filming setup following safety protocols, Fernandez said it works for him for movies but not teleseryes.
“Applicable po sa akin ‘yung setting nung shooting. ‘Yung ganitong like mag-shoot ng straight days, or every other day. ‘Yung style ko, with my whole style, buti na lang medyo naka-tsamba ako in-sync siya with the shooting style of the movies.
“Kung soap ‘to, sa tingin ko mahihirapan ako with my style of working.”
Fernandez stars in the movie, House Tour, directed by Roman Perez Jr. It also stars Diego Loyzaga, Marco Gomez, Rafa Siguion-Reyna, Sunshine Guimary, and Cindy Miranda. The sexy heist thriller premieres on October 22 via Vivamax.
