Following its free TV shut down last year, ABS-CBN has aggressively embarked on bringing its content to global audiences and expanding its digital realm.
More films and TV shows on Netflix, collaboration with global streaming giants, iQiYi and WeTV, and licensing deals with overseas production companies… the list goes longer as time goes by for ABS-CBN, which has been relentlessly expanding its network of platforms since losing free TV, last year. The still recuperating company has successfully developed a potent ecosystem with new revenue streams to compensate for the massive loss that came in the wake of its free TV exit. That said, it will take more expansion efforts for the company to achieve its pre-shutdown might.
