Joshua Garcia is open to becoming Ivana Alawi’s friend after the latter previously admitted that she has a crush on the 24-year-old Kapamilya actor.
It was in an interview with Ogie Diaz, Alawi revealed that she likes Garcia because he seemed nice and a family-oriented kind of a guy.
“Cute ‘yung mukha at tsaka mabait siya. Nakikita ko parang family-oriented. Pero ‘di ko masabi kasi ‘di ko pa siya nakikita in person,” said the social-media influencer.
Many people are waiting for Garcia’s reply to Alawi’s revelation. The actor then admitted that he is thankful for Alawi and that he is willing to become her friend.
“Kapag may humahanga sa ‘kin, nakakadagdag ng confidence ‘yun para sa lalaki.
“Di ko alam reaction ko,” said Garcia during the virtual media conference of his upcoming series Viral Scandal.
Alawi recently celebrated her YouTube channel’s second anniversary and Garcia was one of the many celebrities who greeted and congratulated the vlogger-actress.
She later revealed that she has a crush on Garcia as the actor’s video greeting surprised her.
Meanwhile, she also revealed that she is talking with the actor through their social media accounts, but they haven’t exchanged numbers yet.
Garcia made further comments, “Siyempre thank you kasi na-appreciate ‘yung work kong ginagawa, ‘yung pag-arte. Base sa narinig ko, na-appreciate niya ‘yung acting, so thankful. Very thankful ako as an actor. Maraming salamat.
“I’m open maging kaibigan, okay lang sa ‘kin.”
Today, Garcia will co-star with Charlie Dizon in the upcoming series Viral Scandal. It will air on November 15 via Kapamilya Channel (cable), Kapamilya Online Live (free live-streaming), iWant TFC (on-demand streaming), and A2Z Channel 11 (free and digital TV in Mega Manila).
