In an interview with ABS-CBN News aired on Friday, October 1, Jane De Leon admitted that she turned emotional after fitting her Darna costume.
“Grabe. Goosebumps.
The actress will finally begin her taping for the series in November 2021 after two years of waiting. She also expressed her excitement for her new project.
Kaya abangan po natin!” she said.
She is currently embarked on a strict diet and workouts in preparation for the new series.
“Diet talaga ako, nagbawas ako sa carbs. Imagine nag-wa-one rice a day lang ako. More on compound workouts ang ginagawa namin ni coach,” she stated.
De Leon was also thankful for FPJ’S Ang Probinsyano director and lead star Coco Martin for training her for the action scenes.
We’re planning din naman,” she said.
In accordance with the celebration of Ravelo month this October, she also thanked Mars Ravelo for creating the superheroine Darna.
