Super Tekla was extremely embarrassed after being mistaken for a shoplifter, yet he has forgiven the person who wrongly accused him.
Over his social media, Tekla has shared the disastrous incident of being mistakenly identified as a shoplifter.
According to his Facebook post on October 16, Tekla was humiliated in front of other customers when the saleslady has frisked him after buying at a known convenience store in E. Rodriguez Street, Quezon City.
May kinuha daw akong item sabi ko, ‘Are you sure ate?’ Napahiya ako, daming tao. Sabi nya, kapkapan daw ako then sabi ko, ‘Go ahead.’”
Tekla shared the saleslady blocked him after he paid for what he bought. The saleslady pointed her fingers saying Tekla took an item from the store.
After the saleslady frisked him, Tekla has a complete payment for the goods he acquired.
Amid the unfortunate event, Tekla took pity on the situation considering the saleslady could be punished or fired by the management.
Tekla hoped that the situation would be an eye-opener to everyone, not to judge someone easily based on their looks.
Tekla added.
