Former Pinoy Big Brother: Connect housemate Ralph Malibunas cannot contain his emotions on Tuesday, October 19, when asked how he feels about having his own fans.
In an exclusive interview with RAWR Nation, Malibunas shared how he felt now that he had reached greater heights of being a fanboy than having a fanbase.
Iba yung feeling kasi alam ko po yung nararamdaman nila and nafi-feel nila ‘pag nakikita nila ang idol nila or parang yung sinusuportahan nila,” he expressed.
Coming from a personal experience of gushing over celebrities, Malibunas was glad to get to have his own supporters finally. Now that he has fans, he said he treats them like “family” as a way of giving back to them.
When asked what his fans see from him to earn their support and love, Malibunas believed that it’s because of his love for his family, especially his mother. He also said he knows how to show his affection to his supporters by keeping them happy.
Malibunas’ obsession with Kapamilya artists started when he saw the now-shelved kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. His fanboy then grew as he fell in love with everyone in ABS-CBN’s roster of talents. He even showed support to other contestants in Pinoy Big Brother.
From PBB, Malibunas has now become a Kapamilya talent, even landing a role in ABS-CBN’s digital series, Pasabuy that stars Heaven Peralejo and Gino Roque.
He is joined by his fellow housemates Ella Cayabyab and Gail Banawis in the series.
