Kapamilya young star Francine Diaz shared on Monday, October 18, how she handles her own insecurities as well as the thoughts of becoming a beauty queen.
Diaz is the newest face of the skincare brand Dr. Alvin for their rejuvenating set. But at 17-years old, the actress admitted she has insecurities but tries her best not to dwell too much on it.
Tapos nung siopao face ako or let’s say nung mataba ako before, sabi nila ‘Magpapayat ka nga!’
‘Pag mataba ako gusto n’yo magpapayat ako,” she said during the her media conference as Dr. Alvin’s endorser.
The young star then added that she would not mind other people’s criticism as long as she was healthy and happy.
Being a teenager with a pretty face, Diaz was encouraged to join beauty pageants just like what her fellow celebrities Kisses Delavin and Maureen Wroblewitz did.
Though she is grateful that many feel that she has the potential to become a beauty queen, Diaz said she does not feel that it is the path for her.
So thank you po sa mga nagsasabi na p’wede akong maging Binibining Pilipinas pero I don’t think it’s for me po.”
Diaz can be considered a very successful individual. But for her, the numerous brand deals, projects, and shows were just the start of her journey. She also does not have a particular formula for success as she said:
“Parang wala naman po talagang eksaktong formula para maging successful ka basta as long as hindi ka nag-gi-give up and pinipili mo talagang to keep on fighting, then magiging successful ka.”
