On October 11, Viva artist Ella Cruz posted on her facebook account that her Dad was first to use the color Pink for the 2022 elections campaign.
She then distanced herself from Vice President Leni Robredo supporters.
On facebook, Cruz initially congratulated her father, Tantan Trinidad Cruz. According to her post, her Dad plans to run for a Mayoralty post in Angat, Bulacan.
She then wrote that her Dad was running independently and planned to use pink for his campaign for the past month.
Cruz distanced herself from the color Pink following VP Robredo’s presidential bid announcement.
Netizens questioned her need to explain why she posted about distancing herself from the color pink.
She then responded to netizens, saying that their family is supporting her Dad’s campaign.
She also noted that their family wasn’t aware that VP Robredo would use Pink for her presidential bid.
Cruz added that they have no plans of changing her Dad’s color for their 2022 election campaign.
