Do these supporters even know the story behind these Game of Thrones characters?
Supporters campaign for Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte tandem for 2022 elections.
They started spreading publication materials to promote the tandem of Marcos and Duterte as President and Vice President, respectively, even though the latter has filed for the mayoralty in Davao City.
However, a poster made by a supporter earned criticisms because of its irrelevant character representation.
The said poster likened Bongbong and Sara to Game of Thrones characters Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.
Jon Snow is known as the ‘King of North,’ that is why his supporters connected him to Marcos since he is from Ilocos Norte (located in Northern Luzon). Daenerys Targaryen, on the other hand, the ‘Queen of South,’–the title they thought fits Duterte since she is from Southern Mindanao.

Netizens find fault in the representation of the characters in the said poster. Some critics even questioned if the poster aims to support or destroy the two politicians.
@attygideon had his interpretation of the poster based on the story of the Game of Thrones.
I’m really curious what they meant by this.
1. BBM knows nothing
2. BBM was exiled
3. Sara is the daughter of the Mad King
4. Sara will be mad like her father
5. Sara will kill her own people
6. They had sex
7. BBM will kill SaraSupporter ba may gawa nyan o basher?

Jon and Daenerys had an incestuous relationship in GOT.
Jon is the blood-nephew of Daenerys, but knowing this fact, they remained together in love.
@theninaellaine also pointed out that based on GOT, neither Jon nor Daenerys ended up ruling the kingdom.

Interestingly, in the final episode of GOT, Jon also stabbed Daenerys to the death in the Iron Throne room.

The American fantasy-drama television series Game of Thrones got adapted from the first novel of the novel series A Song of Fire and Ice by George R. R. Martin.
Made originally for HBO and its pilot episode aired on April 17, 2011, and concluded on May 19, 2019, with eight seasons, and has a total of 73 episodes.
Recently, photos of Bongbong and Sara together in Cebu circulated online. These photos have raised speculations that something is brewing for the 2022 elections.
The Davao mayor, however, posted on facebook that their meet-and-greet was purely a coincidence.
“It’s confirmed that I just met Presidential aspirant and former Senator BBM (Bongbong Marcos) at the happy occasion of the birthday of Congresswoman Yedda, wife of House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, in Cebu.”
