On October 14, retired actress Dionne Monsanto shared her thoughts about aspiring presidential candidate Manila Mayor Isko Moreno via her Twitter account.
Monsanto questioned Moreno’s monicker as “Healing President” because of his aggression against his fellow candidate, Vice President Leni Robredo. She also pointed out that he’s targeting the VP because of her gender.
Paano kaya yung lalaking gustong maging the “Healing President” pero palaging nang-aaway? At babae pa ang palaging inaaway. Di niya kayang mang-away ng kapwa lalake, no? 🙃

In another post, Monsanto poked fun at Moreno with Robredo’s “Magpapaka-gentleman na lang ako,” noting that remark would infuriate the outgoing Manila Mayor.
Lalong manggigigil yang si Yormsss 😂 https://t.co/HGw2LEHO4O

She then noted that she prefers the “true opposition” of Robredo, hinting at the lack of achievements of other presidentiables.
Dito tayo sa totoong Oposisyon simula’t sapul. Hindi dun sa mga naging oposisyon na lang ngayon dahil gustong maging bise o presidente kahit wala naman masyadong achievements. #LeniKiko2022 #TRoPa https://t.co/Feodkwq4yi

Earlier, Moreno slammed his critics with the remark “ugaling elitista” (elitist) after voicing his opinion on Robredo’s decision to run independently in the 2022 elections.
“You cannot talk of unity. You yourself, hindi mo nga ma-unify ang sarili mo. You’re not even proud of your party, oh my God. Kung kaya mong iwan ‘yung mga kasama mo, paano na kaming 110 million Pilipinos?”
Moreno also questioned Robredo’s intention for running for office.
“Bakit kailangan uminog ang mundo namin ngayon sa away ng Marcos at Aquino? Sa away ng anak ni Marcos, at mga anak at kasama ng yellowtards? Ay pink na pala.”
The Vice President admitted earlier that the Manila Mayor’s view on the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos factored in her decision to file her candidacy.
Netizens reacted to Moreno’s remark, noting that the politician had shown his true colors by slamming VP Robredo.
