Veteran showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis revealed that wedding bells are ringing for celebrity couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado.
The actor already asked for the actress’s hand from her family.
In Solis’s Instagram post, she mentioned that she received good news om Mercado, who deserves to get loved as such.
“Kung totoo iyon nabalita at nabasa ko na namanhikan na mga parents ni Dennis Trillo kila Jennylyn Mercado, ang saya, Salve.
“Kasi nga hindi naman siguro gugustuhin ni Jennylyn na sa pangalawang pagkakataon ay wala parin sa tabi niya ang lalaking mahal niya para makasama sa exciting stage ng buhay niya bilang babae. Jennylyn Mercado deserves the love and care ng tao na mahal niya na pinagkatiwalaan niya.”

Solis then congratulated the couple and advised Trillo to stay with Mercado’s side.
“Dapat talagang nasa tabi niya ito para suportahan siya at manindigan sa desisyon ginawa nila. Happy days for Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo. Best wishes sa tatahakin nilang bagong buhay. A round of applause for their happiness,” she said.
In an interview for On The Job: The Missing 8 film, Trillo had to share his plans of settling down with Mercado.
He said that he already has a long term-plan with Mercado.
“Madaming long-term na mga plano pero di lahat ng mga plano ay ipinapaalam sa lahat ng tao.
“Siyempre matagal na rin kami, ilang taon na rin kami magkasama.
“Siyempre yung mga ganung usapan hindi yun mawawala.
“Siguro very soon makakarinig na kayo ng mangilan-ngilang balita,” said Trillo.
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are more than eight years as a couple.
