In an episode of the Kapamilya reality game show on October 23, Brenda Mage and Madam Inutz of Pinoy Big Brother season 10 surprised their fellow housemate, Eian Rances on how much money they make as content creators on social media sites such as YouTube and facebook.
It started with Brenda’s recollection of how his YouTube and facebook accounts trended during the pandemic.
He said after his Miss Q & Stint on It’s Showtime, that’s when his channel and page became popular, earning a whopping 100,000 to 800,000 pesos.
“So nung 2019 mga November, doon na ako nag-boom. Umabot na ng 30k, 40k kasi nag Miss Q&A na ako nun eh. Hanggang sa naging 45k, 50k, 60k.
“Nitong pandemic na January, doon ako nag-boom, umabot ako ng 100k sa YouTube. Tapos sa facebook ko, na-monetize s’ya ng January din, kumita rin ako ng 100k.
“Both na naka 100k facebook tsaka YouTube.”
Eian was surprised about Brenda’s income and became curious about how he can monetize his social media accounts.
“Sandali, explain nyo sa ‘kin, sa YouTube, kailangan continuous upload nyo tama?” he inquired.
Madam Inutz then explained that he can make content even twice or three times a week depending on her preference.
She even shared how much money she thinks she has on her YouTube channel: P400,000.
“Sa akin nasa 1 million na. Ang pera ko sa YouTube hindi ko ginagalaw. Ano siguro nasa ano na ‘yon, nasa 400, 000 (pesos).”
Brenda then continued his story, claimed that he now earns roughly P800,000 every month via his facebook page and YouTube channel.
“So ngayon nagma-monthly ako nasa 800k, ang YouTube 200k, 160k. facebook ko kumikita nang 500k-600k.”
This surprised Eian and even Madam Inutz as they cannot believe that Brenda earns such a huge amount of money.
“Monthly?!” a shocked Madam Inutz said.
Eian went on to ask the gay comedian how he monetizes his facebook page which the latter responded, “Sa lives ang pinakamalaki ang kita.”
