Seasoned director Bobet Vidanes continues to express his two cents a year after leaving ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime, although the show’s hosts seem not to give a care.
Recently, Vidanes admitted that he “misses” being with the Kapamilya show. It can be recalled that the director left ABS-CBN and directed TV5’s Lunch Out Loud.
“Pamilyar yung stage, pamilyar yung panahon na andito ako with artists, magkaiba nga lang yung mukha. I miss my family, I miss my Showtime family,” he said during his birthday speech, October 11.
However, his drama did not receive any sympathy from the It’s Showtime hosts.
According to Cristy Fermin, a source told her that the show’s hosts felt that the tears of Vidanes were “crocodile tears” or fake.
Ibig sabihin walang sinseridad, puro arte at pagsisinungaling,” Fermin revealed on October 14.
Issues also surfaced pertaining to Vidanes bad-mouthing It’s Showtime hosts.
In an episode of Fermin’s YouTube vlog on October 18, she revealed how the director ridiculed Vhong Navarro and Vice Ganda.
Fermin also added how Vidanes, according to her source, lambasted It’s Showtime dancers by saying, “Ang bobobo talaga ang mga babaeng ‘to. Magaling magsayaw.”
Aside from the alleged disrespect of Vidanes against Navarro and Vice, he also denied having information regards Kim Chiu becoming a mainstay host in the show. But according to Ogie Diaz, the director was presented and was informed about the actress becoming a regular host.
Diaz also mentioned his source ranted about Vidanes lying about being knowledgeable in Chiu’s position in It’s Showtime.
May ganyan,” relayed Diaz.
Meanwhile, the show’s hosts did not share their respective opinions with Vidanes’s claim.
