On October 15, Kapuso artist Faith Da Silva shared her preparation for her “biggest break” and her first lead role in a teleserye in Las Hermanas.
During the media conference for the Las Hermanas, Da Silva detailed her rigorous routine for the role before they began filming for the series.
“I really prepared for this. And, nag-ask ako ng guidance from our director, Direk Monti Parungao. And, habang nagka-quarantine ako, wala akong ibang inisip.”
Da Silva also recalled how their director, Monti Parungao, guided her in portraying her role.
And everything actually.
She then recalled that it took her six years in Showbiz before she received her first break.
“Sinabi ko sa sarili ko, na dito sa time na ‘to kailangan mag-focus ka. Kailangan ibigay mo kung anong mayroon ka kasi six years kong hinintay ‘to. Six years, so sinabi ko, ibibigay ko talaga lahat, ng buong puso ko. And, I’m very, very grateful for GMA Network, GMA Artist Center for giving me this opportunity.”
Da Silva began her career in 2015 in StarStruck 6. She then worked on teleseryes such as Anak Ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday and Ika-5 Utos.
As for their upcoming series, Da Silva stars alongside Yasmien Kurdi, Thea Tolentino, and Albert Martinez in the newest drama offering from GMA Network, Las Hermanas.
The series also also includes a stellar cast with Jason Abalos, Rita Avila, Leandro Baldemor, Jennica Garcia, Lucho Ayala, Madeline Nicolas, Rubi Rubi, Melissa Mendez, Robert Ortega, Orlando Sol, and Coleen Paz.
Las Hermanas premieres on October 25, on GMA Network, after 24 Oras.
