Angeline Quinto has truly come a long way as she celebrates her decade in the industry. Like other artists, she went through a lot before succeeding in her chosen career.
From being a “kontesera” to becoming a country’s “Power Diva,” Quinto is sure that her career has its ups-and-downs.
According to the Kapamilya singer, she considers her first concert at the Araneta Coliseum the highlight or the highest point of her career in 10 years.
It was one of her childhood dreams.
Angeline shared, “Sa 10 years, syempre yung ano, yung nakapagconcert po ako sa Araneta first time with Erik Santos.
“Parang pag sinabing Araneta, iba e! Nakapag-show naman ako before pero bilang guest ni Miss Regine and Sir Ogie. Kaya iba pa rin kasi talaga kapag ikaw mismo yung may sariling show,” she clarifed.
Meanwhile, she considers the closure of ABS-CBN as the lowest point of her career.
As a Kapamilya artist, it was one of the saddest circumstances of her life.
The denial of the ABS-CBN franchise seems like a nightmare to her.
She recalled, “Ang masasabi kong lowest point, siguro nung nagsara ang ABS, ‘yung nag-shutdown ang ABS-CBN.
The Kapamilya network was the first to believe and trust in her talent so it was painful for Angeline to witness the current station’s situation.
Although the said Network still does not have a franchise, the singer-actress is still thankful because she still has a lot of projects.
She is set to hold a concert as part of the celebration of her 10th year in the industry, titled 10Q at the new and improved MET Theater.
