She’s a diamond-selling recording artist. San Jose holds the distinction of being one of a few Filipino singers to achieve Diamond status for the studio albums they released. Her self-titled debut album, Julie Anne San Jose, sold more than 150,000 copies, enough to put her alongside industry giants Jose Mari Chan, Nina, Christian Bautista, and Regine Velasquez, who are all Diamond-selling recording artists.
She is a great songwriter. Aside from being a singer, Julie Anne writes songs too. She is behind the words and melodies of some of the singles she relead, including Baby You Are (2012), Deeper (2014), and Regrets (2019), proving how multi-faceted a musician she is.
She is a concert performer like no other. Julie Anne knows how to value the money of those who go to see her in concerts. Through her acting debut on the afternoon series, Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan, the then-newbie star was already successful in convincing GMA executives that she had potential.
