In an exclusive interview with the actor on August 31, he talked about his recent career move in joining the GMA Network as well as his girlfriend Kim Chiu.
Recently, netizens noticed that Chiu seemed to be unhappy while she is hosting the noontime show It’s Showtime.

When asked about this, Lim said that he is not in the right position to talk about Chiu’s problems. But as a couple, he said that they share their problems with themselves.
“Definitely kung meron man pong meron siyang pinagdadaanan, napapag-usapan po namin yung mga ganung bagay,” he said.
“As a couple, siyempre that’s something we have and we tell each other ng mga hinanakit namin, mga sama ng loob. But it’s part of it, it’s part of being in a relationship.”
Lim explained that he and Chiu are supportive of each other especially to their respective careers. He knows that his girlfriend supports his decision to transfer networks.
“Hindi ako nagpaalam because I know suportado namin ang isa’t isa, mapaano mang desisyong gawin namin.
“Even po sa mga proyekto, kunyari po sa mga pelikula or teleserye, never po kami umabot sa point na, ‘Uy, magpapaalam muna ako bago ko gawin ‘to.’
“Even nung nagsisimula pa lang po kami, hindi po kami ganung type ng relationship po namin, hindi po ganun,” he said.
Lim is currently set to star in a Kapuso series Love. Die. Repeat with Jennylyn Mercado. The series marks Lim’s first-ever series in GMA Network and team-up project with Mercado.
Before his network transfer, Lim was previously with ABS-CBN, where he most recently starred in the teleserye Love Thy Woman that ran from February to September 2020.
