The issue regarding Janella Salvador and Julia Barretto’s broken friendship has recently been revived.
It can be recalled that in January 2020, Julia unfollowed Janella and ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia for an undetermined reason.
Janella and Joshua worked together in the Kapamilya series ‘The Killer Bride’ from August 2019 to January 2020.
During the entire series, Joshua and Janella developed a strong friendship. Janella even labeled Joshua as her best loveteam ever.
Eventually, Julia followed the two again.
Fans already disregarded this issue when Janella guested in the vlog of the celebrity twins Joj and Jai.
In the “Drink or Spill Challenge” vlog of Joj and Jai, which was released on September 26, Janella was asked about her friendship with Julia.
Janella then said, “Ha?! May gano’n?!”
Jai wishes to clarify the issue to the people, so she chose to ask the actress about it.
“And there was an issue before na di ko na sasabihin kung ano, pero alam niyo na yun,” Janella confirmed.
The two have not yet talked personally, but Julia reached out to Janella during her pregnancy.
Janella and her boyfriend Markus Paterson kept her pregnancy a secret. Only their close friends and family knew about it.
In January this year, they revealed that she gave birth to their son Jude in October 2020.
In the said vlog, Janella revealed that Julia sent her balloons when she was still pregnant.
“Nag-reach out siya nung nalaman niyang buntis ako.
“Sinendan niya ako ng balloons ta’s nag-thank you ako. Pero di na nag-progress yung friendship namin.”
Janella then expressed hope that soon, she and Julia would be able to rekindle their friendship.
“Pero open naman ako in the future if we cross paths again, then why not Pero right now, di pa kami nag-uusap.”
