Comedienne Tuesday Vargas called for a concrete plan amid the constantly changing of safety guidelines during the Madlang Pi-Poll Segment of It’s Showtime, on September 7.
Tuesday, alongside KitKat and Wilma Doesnt, answered the Poll whether they agree with having Metro Manila placed under general community quarantine (GCQ).
While Kitkat and Doesnt agreed to say ‘Yes’ to the Poll question, Vargas said ‘No.’
However, she clarified that she would have said ‘Yes’ if there was a concrete plan and efficient system for the pandemic response.
Her comments trended on twitter.
Some are also comparing Tuesday to Ate Gay, who defended the government recently.

Tuesday posted on her twitter account to discuss her statement during the It’s Showtime segment.
She noted that she was using her platform to voice out concerns regarding issues affecting the Filipino people.

She also addressed the bashers, noting that she’s exercising the freedom of speech through her platform.

Tuesday is known for being vocal in sharing her opinions and addressing bashers on social media.
Earlier this week, The Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 deferred their decision to implement GCQ in Metro Manila on short notice. As a result, the National Capital Region will stay with modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) until September 15, 2021.
