On September 2, Sunshine Dizon admitted that she feels giddy with her new home in ABS-CBN during the media conference for Marry Me, Marry You.
Dizon appreciated the warm welcome she received from the Kapamilya Network, which gave her a heart-warming feeling.
“Nakakakilig. Kasing Kilig nitong Marry Me, Marry You.
“Parang hindi pa rin totoo minsan, pero it’s just very heart warming that they welcomed me with open arms. It’s a very good project. Thank you, thank you for opening your house and welcoming me as a Kapamilya.”
She also shared how ABS-CBN and Dreamscape took care of the cast of ‘Marry Me, Marry You’ during their locked-in taping of the series.
“Super happy. Nakakatuwa na you know because of the pandemic, lahat kami sumusugal. But we’re all very grateful to have work right now. And, ako ultimately, I’m just very thankful that Dreamscape is taking precautions and taking care of all the actors and all the staff and crew to ensure our safety. So big deal sa akin.
“So ako, thank you, sir Deo. Thank you, ABS-CBN, for setting everything to appease us and making us feel safe. So thank you.”
As for the cast of Marry Me, Marry You, Dizon shared how her co-star Cherry Pie Picache helped break the ice for Dizon with her fellow actors.
“To be honest, I owe that to Miss Pie. On our first day, we were throwing lines and then napansin ni Miss Pie kung gaano ako kakulit in person, which people assume I’m so tahimik, I’m so serious. Sabi ni ate Pie, ‘yan na ‘yun, wag ka na umarte, todo mo na ‘yan. Yan ka na.”
Dizon surprised her fans when she transferred from GMA Network to ABS-CBN in April 2021.
Dizon’s first project with the network is Marry Me, Marry You, alongside fellow recent Kapamilya transfer Janine Gutierrez and actor Paulo Avelino. The series premieres on September 13 at 9:20 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
