Rosanna Roces made amends with multi-awarded actress Lorna Tolentino following their rift for many years.
Talent manager and comedian Ogie Diaz confirmed this news on his YouTube vlog episode, uploaded on Wednesday, September 1.
Roces and Tolentino currently work together in ABS-CBN’s popular primetime action-drama series , FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
According to Diaz, Roces personally approached Tolentino and asked for forgiveness on Monday, August 30, on the set of the series.
The two actresses had an issue in the past. Roces got linked to Rudy Fernandez, Tolentino’s late husband.
Roces was the action star’s co-actor in a short-lived TV sitcom on GMA Network, Da Boy en Da Girl. The issue erupted with Tolentino already battling cancer.
The actress shared she felt a sense of relief after making up with Fernandez’s widow.
“Binati na ako ni LT. Ginawa ko niyakap ko. Tapos sinabi ko, ‘Galit ka pa sa akin?’ Sabi niya, ‘Hindi na, ang tagal na nun.’ Niyakap ko ulit sabay sabi ko, ‘Sorry.’ Naiyak ako. Sabi niya, ‘Hayaan mo nasa langit na ‘yung isa,'” Roces said in a message which was read by Diaz in the vlog.
“Ang gaan sa pakiramdam, mare. Kinawayan niya ako. Tapos umakyat ako sa standby area nila. Doon ako nag-sorry. Kahapon magkaeksena kami pero hindi ako nakakuha ng tiyempo. Kanina lang. May nai-close na naman akong pahina,” she continued in her message.
Diaz also said that Coco Martin, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s lead star, was glad about the reconciliation.
