Marco Gumabao admits on September 6 that he believes in fortune tellers but was surprised to know what kind of woman will he end up falling in love with.
“Ako na-try ko nang magpahula before. Pero parang trip-trip lang gano’n,” he admitted in the virtual press conference of TV5’s newest offer, Di Na Muli.
Apparently, according to the fortune-teller he sought, the actor will fall in love with a single mother, which he found was ‘hard to believe’.
“Actually natawa ako kasi nung nagpahula ako—once or twice lang sa buong buhay ko—pero yung hinula sa’kin, tawang-tawa ako kasi sa love life daw mai-inlove daw ako sa taong may anak. Do’n ako na parang ‘ah talaga?’ Pero so far wala pa naman,” he recalled.
Though Gumabao does believe in such things, he stressed that people should not take such premonitions seriously, to the point where life revolves around a guess.
“It’s not something that you have to take seriously, as in like kailangan mo s’yang sundin or kung ano yung hinula sa’yo. you expect it to happen right away or yun lang talaga yung mangyari.
“Kumbaga sometimes you can maybe use it as a guide pero for me, ‘wag mo s’yang kumbaga gagawing manual book ng buhay mo.”
Meanwhile, Gumabao, who has starred alongside established actresses during the pandemic, shared his reaction when dubbed Viva’s “hottest leading man”.
“Grabe naman yung hottest. Well, for me, I’m really blessed to be part of movies and shows with these wonderful actresses.
“For me, I just look at everything as a blessing and of course yun nga, not to take everything for granted.
“I also learn a lot from my co-actors and my leading ladies. Of course, always keep my feet on the ground, to stay humble,” he explained.
His most recent project was with Megastar Sharon Cuneta in the Vivamax film Revirginized.
“Ayun, thankful ako and very happy because grabe, lahat ng mga sikat or pinakamagagalin na mga artista nakakasama ko sa isang proyekto,” he ended.
Aside from Gumabao, joining him as part of the main cast in Di Na Muli are Julia Barretto and Marco Gallo. They will also be supported by Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Baron Geisler, Krissha Viaje, Andre Yllana, Lander Vera Perez, Katya Santos, and Joe Vargas.
Catch the teleserye starting September 18, every Saturday, 8 p.m., only on TV5.
