On September 16, actress Lovi Poe expressed her excitement over her upcoming Kapamilya projects.
During the media conference for her transfer to the Kapamilya network, she shared her goals as a new Kapamilya while sharing her appreciation of the network’s warm welcome.
“My main goal is just to be myself and do what I usually do on a day-to-day basis which is to do my best when it comes to working. And, I really don’t expect anything, maybe I’m really just looking forward to like all the amazing things that are about to happen.
“‘Yung pag welcome nila sa akin. I can’t even explain it. The moment I walked in, I just really felt the love. You know how I felt nervous at the beginning, I suddenly felt at home. Thank you for that.”
She also revealed her previous talks with ABS-CBN and Dreamscape executives, which helped her decide on the network transfer.
“It has nothing to do with what I felt at that particular moment. It was the people I was speaking to, talked to. Of course, Miss Cory, sir Deo. When you speak to them, you suddenly have this feeling. Like when my first step here sa ABS-CBN, it just felt like home.”
Lovi signed her contract with ABS-CBN on September 16, confirming her transfer to the Kapamilya Network. She has an upcoming teleserye with Piolo Pascual, a Pinoy adaptation of the Korean series Flower of Evil.
Lovi also addressed the reactions she received from the public for her transfer to the Kapamilya network.
“Hindi naman po talaga maiiwasan na there would be different kinds of opinions. That’s just normal. I think it’s just important to focus on the good things because ‘yung negative things naman na masasabi, it’s always how you react towards things that matter as long as you’re positive, and you believe in the people you’re with, and you’re working with now.”
