Lolit Solis questioned his talent Paolo Contis’s decision to invite Yen Santos to join him in Baguio.
Recently, photos and videos of Contis and Santos together in Baguio went viral.
The photographs and the videos linked Santos into the Kapuso actor’s break-up with his six-year partner, LJ Reyes.
The Kapamilya star is suspected to be the reason behind the split-up of Contis and Reyes. However, Contis explained that Santos went to Baguio ‘as a friend.’

“She went there as a friend. Hindi ko naisip na madadamay siya ng ganito. I’m sorry for this,” said Contis.
Solis insisted on Contis’s move to have Santos as his companion amid the third-party rumors.
She said that Contis should have invited his guy friends rather than Santos.
“Maganda ‘yung composition ng paliwanag ni Paolo Contis. Bagbag damdamin mo. Isa lang ang hindi ko naintindihan, ‘yung kailangan niya ng kausap dahil nga sa mga nangyayari sa kanya ngayon, bakit si Yen Santos ang tinawagan niya?” Solis said in a column on Pilipino Star Ngayon.
“Wala ba siyang kaibigang lalaki? Hindi ba kadalasan, ang gusto mong ka-jamming ay kapwa mo lalaki dahil ito ang higit na mas makakaunawa sa iyo dahil pareho kayo ng gender?
“Doon lang talaga tumaas ang kilay ko, why Yen Santos, mother figure? BFF? Why her?”
The veteran entertainment columnist then shared about the perfect timing in explaining a crisis.
“Timing is very important sa lahat ng bagay, lalo pa sa crisis management. Hindi mo sinasalubong dapat ‘yung galit na one track mind lang, na kahit ano pa ang gawin mo for the moment hindi maiintindihan ng mga taong galit.
“Hintayin mong mag-subside ang galit, saka ka magpaliwanag. Timing. Iyan ang lagi mong tatandaan,” she said.
Meanwhile, netizens did not believe that Yen Santos only went to Baguio with Paolo Contis as a ‘friend.’
