Jane De Leon is allegedly allowing propagandists to use her name on social media platforms to endorse politicians.
However, through a facebook post, De Leon denied the claims on Friday, September 24. The Kapamilya star shared a screenshot of the post from the poser account and warned netizens about it.
She captioned her post, “This is one of my posers and definitely NOT ME! BEWARE PO!!”

The fake account currently has more than 600, 000 followers while De Leon’s official account has over 6 million followers.
The page mostly share photos of the actress and trending topics on the internet. Strangely, it is also advertising some politicians and their accomplishments. Mark Villar, Secretary of Public Works and Highways of the Philippines, was mentioned numerous times in the posts of the fake page.
De Leon is just one among the many artists that are victimized by propagandists on social media to carry out their underlying motives using their fame.
The actress is currently preoccupied for the taping of Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series. She is tapped to portray the iconic Filipino superheroine in the TV series.
The series was announced on December 4, 2020 after the indefinite postponement of Star Cinema’s Darna movie project on August 2020.
