Is Lovi Poe finally leaving GMA Network to join ABS-CBN?
In the first quarter of the year, rumors about Lovi Poe’s possible network transfer circulated online.
These rumors were rooted in the non-renewal of Poe’s contract under GMA Network, which has expired in July 2020.
Poe signed a three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network in 2019.
Recently, she finished the series Owe My Love under the said network and since then, many are anticipating her network shift.
She also spoke up about this matter in July during the face-to-face media conference for The Other Wife held in Botejyu Capital Commons by the Viva Films.
“Right now, it’s hard to say; Everything is under negotiations. I’ve just finished my show. We’re still having the conversation,” Poe admitted.
“It’s a hard thing to say, I think it’s best to keep it private because I want to respect both networks.
“Ako naman po kasi, I’m always open to working with anybody. To grow as an artist, I don’t think you’re supposed to box or keep yourself like just doing the same or working with the same people over and over again,” she added.
However, after this presscon, there were no updates regarding her network transfer.
Other co-artists of Poe under the Leo Dominguez management (LVD) have already moved to ABS-CBN to name Paolo Avelino, Ogie Alcasid, and Janine Gutierrez. Will Poe follow their career path?
Amidst the rumors, we can never say that Poe will be a Kapamilya unless she inks a contract with ABS-CBN. So, as of now, her shifting of network remains a question.
