Young star Faith da Silva finally talked about her rumored relationship with Albert Martinez.
Da Silva, 20, and Martinez, 60, are currently working on GMA Network’s upcoming GMA teleserye Las Hermanas.
Recently, rumors spread that the two are in a relationship despite their 40-year age gap.
In an interview with The Boobay and Tekla Show (TBATS) on September 26, da Silva mentioned that he is comfortable with Martinez and that the actor guides her well.
“Iba yung relationship namin together. Komportable kami sa isa’t isa.
“Masaya ako na nakilala ko siya in a deeper level. He was really there to support me and guide me.
“Maalaga kasi talaga siya and very grateful ako na yung side na yun of him, e, nakita ko dahil hindi ko ine-expect na isang beteranong aktor, e, ganoon makitungo sa akin,” she said.
When asked about her opinion on the possibility of her falling in love with an older guy, she noted that age does not matter.
“For me, walang edad na pinipili ang pagmamahal. Basta maramdaman mo na totoo yung nararamdaman mo sa tao.
“Regardless of the age, kahit anong bagay ‘yan, basta mahal ninyo ang isa’t isa, wala kayong tinatapakang tao, e, go lang ‘yan!”
She also revealed that she and Martinez have talked about the relationship rumors between them. She said they do not mind the rumors as it bears no truth.
“Nag-usap kami. Napag-usapan namin pero in passing lang.
“Hindi siya yung seryosohan talaga. Parang pinagbibiru-biruan lang namin. Tuksu-tuksuhan lang.
“Para sa aming dalawa kasi, professional lamang lahat. Walang ilangan.
“The fact na nakikita ng mga tao na okay ang chemistry namin together, I think yun ang mas importante sa amin,” da Silva said.
Da Silva, a StarStruck 6 finalist, will be launched by the GMA network with her upcoming afternoon series Las Hermanas.
The series will be about revenge and jealousy which will also star Yasmien Kurdi with former Kapamilya actors Jason Abalos, and Albert Martine (who is making his comeback to the Kapuso network).
