Ang Manananggal na Nahahati ang Puso star Aubrey Caraan admitted on September 8 she cried during the film’s shooting.
“No’n una, before mag-shooting, umiyak talaga ako sa room ko,” admitted the young star in the film’s virtual press conference.
Apparently, Caraan was super nervous meeting and working with Darryl Yap on a movie.
“Kasi sobra yung kaba, yung takot, kasi first time kong mami-meet si direk.”
The young talent replaced Nadine Lustre in the movie, which she could not believe at first.
Although overwhelmed with emotions and doubts, Caraan revealed how the director helped her throughout the movie’s production.
“And nung nakilala ko si Direk, super nice, super fun. Working with Direk Darryl ‘pag nasa set, sobrang light lang.
She also expressed her gratitude to Yap for being patient with her.
Caraan entered showbiz at the young age of 10 years old. She started in ABS-CBN’s show Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers. But, after two years of being a Kapamilya, the artist decided to take her talents to Viva.
There she was given the opportunity to be part of its girl group, Pop Girls after Nadine Lustre and Shy Carlos went solo.
Being part of Viva, Caraan landed supporting roles on the shows of Viva TV and Sari-Sari channel. After almost twelve years of doing minor roles, including Squad Goals, Hopeless Romantic, and Indak, she finally landed her first title role in Ang Manananggal na Nahahati ang Puso.
“ she said.
