Stand-up comedian Ate Gay disclosed the financial assistance he received from Vice Ganda and other showbiz personalities during his hospitalization due to toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN).
According to hopkinsmedicine.org, TEN is a serious skin disorder that causes the blistering and peeling of the skin.
The comedian recovered from the skin disorder in April 2021.
In his recent facebook post, Ate Gay shared that he wanted to delete all his facebook friends who keep on sharing negative things about the government.
Netizens were quick to bash Ate Gay for his pro-government stance and even mentioned that Vice Ganda shouldn’t have helped the comedian when he was diagnosed with TEN.

In a now-deleted tweet, Ate Gay pointed out that his brother was the one who [mostly] contributed to his hospital bills.
He even enumerated all the financial help that he got from his showbiz friends.
He even added that netizens should leave Vice Ganda out of the issue.

On September 7, comedian Vincent Aycocho a.k.a. Petite, also slammed and threatened to unfriend Ate Gay over the latter’s facebook post on the Philippines’ debt.
