Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin revealed via Instagram on Monday, September 13, that ten of her family members from separate houses are infected with COVID-19.
On Sunday, September 12, the actress shared that her 94-year-old father, Angelo Colmenares, tested positive for the virus.
It was not mentioned if her father was among the ten members of her family who are suffering from the virus.
Locsin thanked everyone for their prayers via Instagram Stories.
She wrote, “Thank you for the prayers.
“I’m going to take my post down because this is something I don’t want to remember.
“I just needed to air out yesterday. 10 members of the fam from separate houses got covid.
“Thank you everyone for being a ray of sunshine to me and my family. [heart emoji]”
Locsin took down her older post, which announced her father’s current condition. Locsin said she and her family felt “helpless” after her father tested positive for the virus in that post. Colmenares is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
“It’s been a week of feeling helpless. Imagine having covid at 94. Now imagine being blind in unfamiliar surroundings.
“So many realizations during this pandemic. We all have our battles, but some definitely more than others. To the PWD’s and everyone fighting their battles alone, kapit! This too shall pass,” Locsin said.
