Comedian Brenda Mage confronted Bea Alonzo over his loss in Miss Q & A even after more than two years.
Miss Q & A is a segment in the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime which showcases gay people.
Bea Alonzo was one of the judges of the segment during its grand finals held at the Araneta Coliseum on February 23, 2019.
In the Kapuso show The Boobay and Tekla Show (TBATS), Brenda was a guest comedian while Bea was the main guest.
Brenda could not help but confront Bea over his loss in the pageant. He said that the actress gave him a score of zero.
“May tanong lang ako. Maiba naman tayo. Kasi natalo ako dati sa ‘Miss Q and A,’ siya yung isa sa judge, ikaw ba yung nag…?”
“Hanggang ngayon hindi ako maka-move on kasi…”
The actress was caught off-guard as she did not expect the question from Brenda.
She burst out laughing.
Brenda then quipped that he could not move on from the results of the competition as he wanted to direct his anger to Dominic Roque, Bea’s current boyfriend.
“Isa siya [Bea] sa mga judge at parang nakita ko talaga yung score niya, parang ‘zero’ ang nilagay.
“Parang until now, parang gusto kong bugbugin si Dominic [Roque] talaga.”
Mitch Montecarlo Suansane won the said gay pageant and was hailed as the Miss Q & A 2019.
Aside from Bea, other judges back then were Charo Santos-Concio, Maymay Entrata, Boy Abunda, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Karylle, Ricci Rivero, Joel Cruz, Nicole Cordoves, and James Reid.
Although Brenda Mage did not become the Miss Q & A 2019, the competition became a stepping stone for him to enter the showbiz industry.
He became a part of Maalaala Mo Kaya and Ang Sa ‘Yo ay Akin (2020-2021).
The competition also helped him gain fame as he also started his vlogging career on YouTube and facebook.
He recently revealed that he earns six digits ranging from 100k-300k per month for both platforms.
