On August 19, 2021, Viva confirmed that the upcoming projects for Anne Curtis-Smith have already been laid out.

During the media conference for Vivamax, Viva Communications Inc. vice chairman/CEO Vincent del Rosario shared details about Ciurtis-Smith’s upcoming horror series with Director Erik Matti

“Si Anne has agreed to do an Erik Matti series. Wala lang doon sa reel kasi ‘yung reel kanina is bottom half of 2021.

“It’s a Q1 2022 project. It’s a series, it’s a horror series na si Erik Matti mismo ang magdi-direct.”

He also detailed the actress’s upcoming concert project with Viva that includes a documentary-style approach.

“Syempre natagalan ‘to dahil si Anne is having a baby ay iwas-iwas muna lumabas. But she has promised to get this on by January or February.

“Inuuna, inaayos pa ‘yung aming live division looking forward to do a end-of-year concert with Anne. Well, it’s a concert documented.”

Earlier, Anne hinted at her teleserye return to her fans via social media. Aside from her posts, her management also confirmed her return to the Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime.

She also received an offer from GMA Network. However, she opted to review the script first before deciding on accepting the project.

The sorely missed It’s Showtime host announced her hiatus in the first quarter of 2020, noting that she wanted to focus on her pregnancy and her giving birth to her daughter. Since then, fans have been clamoring to see the female noontime host back on the TV screens.
