On August 26, Suzette Doctolero believes that the Kapuso show Legal Wives, is doing well in terms of TV ratings.
Doctolero provided on her facebook account the ratings of the teleserye for August 18 and 25.
According to her post, which was from AGB Nielsen NUTAM People’s Rating, Legal Wives garnered a TV rating of 11.8% and 11%, respectively.
The series then averaged a score of 11.6% and 10.7% for August 18 and 25.
The screenwriter also thanked the viewers for [actually] supporting the show as well as urging them to continue sharing the wonderful story of Legal Wives.
“Salamat mga kapuso! (5 channel pala ang kalaban hehe).
“Huwag pong bibitiw. Kung naniniwala kayo na matino ang show, please help us. Ikwento sa kaibigan, sa kaanak, sa pamilya, at mga kakilala. Malaking bagay,” Doctolero wrote.
Doctolero shared the show’s ratings following her rant about its poor performance on August 25.
The following day, the Kapuso screenwriter clarified why she was disappointed by Legal Wives’ low viewership.
“Ang aking deleted post ay dahil feeling ko lang ay dapat mas mataas pa ang nakukuha ng LW (Legal Wives) lalo at may ingay ang show na hindi lang gawa- gawa ng promo, kundi suporta mula sa mga positibong reviews ng mga nanonood nito. Hindi peke, kundi ay totoo.”
Doctolero stressed that she wanted the show to reach more audiences and be educated on what makes Muslim religion and tradition different from the rest.
“Mas gusto rin nating lumawak pa ang audience share nito — panoorin nang mas marami pa dahil hatid nito ay hindi lang aliw kundi dagdag kaalaman.
“At mag-promote ng unawaan sa pagitan ng mga taong may magkaibang relihiyon. Alisin ang religion: pare-pareho tayong tao, mabuting anak at kapatid, kaibigan, etc.”
Starting Monday, August 30, Doctolero’s Legal Wives will be going up against ABS-CBN’s longest-running action-packed series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano after its timeslot was moved to 8:00 p.m., replacing The World Between Us who will be at season break next week.
This is also the second time that Doctolero’s show will be competing against FPJAP after Encantadia.
