Kapuso artist Shayne Sava recalled her experience of being bullied at a young age because of her voice.
During the media conference for GMA Playlist on August 11, Sava explained that it happened because she kept getting compared to her cousin.
So parang lagi kaming nakukumpara.”
And now, Sava thanked GMA Playlist for the opportunity to showcase her musical talent.
“And then growing up nga po na build ko naman po ‘yung confidence. And natutuwa naman ako and super excited dahil nandito po ako.
“I’m very honored. And, gusto ko lang po take ‘yung chance na ito to thank GMA Network, GMA Playlist, and GMA Artist Center po sa opportunity na binigay sa akin.”
During the interview, Sava also expressed her joy at the chance of producing her own song.
Sava started her showbiz career when she joined Starstruck in 2019, wherein she showcased her musical talents during the competition.
However, after entering showbiz, Sava focused on her acting career. She then appeared in Magpakailanman and Dear Uge episodes.
Recently, she joined the cast of GMA Network’s cultural drama, Legal Wives, and now she’s one of the 13 artists under the network’s sub-label, GMA Playlist.
