Award-winning ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) anchor Migs Bustos returns to the driver’s seat to usher in the new era of “REV” on ANC.
Starting tomorrow (August 12), the program will now be stylized as “REV+” as it goes beyond the motoring world to deliver a wider array of interesting lifestyle features to its viewers.
“Cars are not only the toys we’re interested in. From the showroom and beyond your next road trip destination, we’re going beyond cars and deep into car culture, tech, collectibles, and everything in between,” said Migs, who took over as host of the show in 2020.
Joining Migs in the all-new “REV+” is fellow ANC anchor Nikki de Guzman, who will check out the world-famous collection of rare sneakers, vintage toys, and dream cars of Big Boy Cheng in the first episode.
Nikki, who currently co-anchors the morning newscast “Rundown,” finds excitement in her new assignment on ANC.
“Working outdoors is a refreshing experience. I’m actually just as excited as the viewers, because for our segment on REV, we’ll be showcasing interests that are right up my alley,” said Nikki, who is a toy collector, a gamer, and a self-confessed “all-around geek.”
Migs, meanwhile, will continue to take viewers out for a joyride as he tests the performance of the hottest cars in the market.
“Being part of REV is a whole new experience. All cars have different features and it’s always an exhilarating experience to push the cars to the limit. Viewers can still expect top of the line reviews and those artistic shots and angles of the cars that REV has been known for.”
“REV” debuted on ANC in 2017 and quickly emerged as one of the country’s premier motoring shows on television. Before “REV,” Migs anchored “Game Time” on ANC, where he won Best Sports Program Host at the 18th Gawad Tanglaw.
