Rising artist Cassy Legaspi reacted to netizens comparing her to Nevertheless lead Han So-hee.
During her media conference for her Palmolive endorsement, Cassy gushed over the comparison with the Korean actress.
“Everyone was saying that, especially sa social media po. Guys ako lang po ito. I’m really kilig, but at the same time, I don’t see it. She is way, way prettier guys as in.
The comparison was brought upon by her new hairstyle, which is reminiscent of current K-Pop trends.
Earlier, netizens took notice of her resemblance with So-hee and started posting comparisons of the two.
Cassy clarified the reason for her hairstyle change, with K-Pop being one of them.
“I want to be a K-Pop idol. Nainspire sa mga interest ko, which is K-Pop. Para lang maiba, and syempre para mas healthy ‘yung buhok.
“I just felt like it kasi after First Yaya parang sabi ko, ‘oh, change look na ako.’
“Dapat iba na for Cassy Legaspi.”
Cassy starred in GMA Network’s highly successful series First Yaya, which was her first-ever teleserye project.
Cassy admitted that she’s excited to work on more teleseryes in the future.
“Yes, I’m really excited. After taping, narealize ko, ‘oh my gosh, I love this feeling, this adrenaline. Kahit pagod ako, I don’t see it as work or something I dread. I just really enjoy it.”
