During a media conference for Limitless: A Musical Trilogy on August 12, Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose revealed that she almost quit showbiz.
In the interview, San Jose recalled the hardships she went through.
“There was a phase in my life, ‘yun lang pwede ko sabihin. ‘Yun lang ang pwede ko i-share for now.
“I believe kasi lahat naman tayo may phase na ganon di ba? Especially ngayong may mga hardships tayo na pinagdadaanan sa buhay. Lalo na ngayong pandemic, parang mas lalong nag-sink in sa akin na ano bang purpose ko sa buhay.”
She admitted feeling demotivated because of what she went through.
“There was a time na I felt demotivated. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know kung matutuloy pa ‘yung mga plano ko or kung dapat ko pa bang ituloy.”
San Jose then shared what she felt during the pandemic, which led to her social media post regarding the lockdowns.
“I’m speaking for everyone else, ang tagal nating pinagdadaanan itong pandemic na ito and lahat tayo ay sobrang apektado in different aspects.
“Ang tagal kong kinimkim, kasi lahat tayo gustong makawala, and just be free from the pandemic and see the world.”
During the pandemic, she worked on the Kapuso Series, Heartful Cafe, alongside David Licauco.
She works with director Paolo Valenciano in the three-part virtual, LIMITLESS, A Musical Trilogy.
The online concert event launches on September 17. Tickets are currently on sale with prices ranging from P599 to P3,299.Â
