Ivana Alawi made the rounds on social media after one netizen slammed her for having a bad attitude during an event in Cebu.
Perry Lansingan, Alawi’s manager, defended the rising star and denied the netizen’s allegation.
On July 25, Alawi attended an event in Cebu along with Daniel Matsunaga and Daiana Menezes.
In a now-deleted facebook post, an organizer of the said event hinted that the talent fee given to one of their guest stars was not worth it because of attitude problems.
“Dili worth it ang mobayad og mahal sa artista basta attitude. Lesson learned of MTalents.
“I hope kanang wa pa nisikat nga artista eneg ka sikat ninyo ayaw tawn mog kaosab kay attitude is the most important in this world.”
(I hope those artists who are not famous yet would not change when they get famous because attitude is the most important in this world.)
The artist that the netizen was referring to could not be Matsunaga or Menezes as the netizen previously posted a photo with the two noting how both possess good work ethics.
Based on the comments on the deleted post, Alawi requested that the people wear their face mask which was taken differently by the netizen.
Some people defended the YouTube star as they mentioned how wearing your face masks is a protocol of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other speculations also said that Alawi refused to do a task that is requested by the event organizer.
Alawi’s manager, Perry Lansingan slammed the uploader and said that his talent only refused the request because it is beyond the contract that they agreed on.
“Paano naging maarte? In what way? Elaborate on this matter. Ng masagot ka namin,” he said.
Other netizens also defended the YouTube star and said that the organizer only invited Alawi to gain more views.
