GMA Network shows reigned supreme last weekend, August 7 and 8.
Based on the chart released by AGB Nielsen, the Top 10 programs on Saturday and Sunday are all from GMA Network.
On August 7, the drama anthology Magpakailanman ranked first with 13.6%, recording a 0.4% gap from the second placer Pepito Manaloto.
The reality talent competition Catch Me Out Philippines came third with 11.2%, followed by the news and current affairs shows, 24 Oras Weekend, and Imbestigador with 10.6 and 8.5, respectively.
Daddy’s Gurl then came next with 7.6%. Completing the Top 10 are Wish Ko Lang, Tadhana, Eat Bulaga, and Nagbabagang Luha with 6.8%, 6.5%, 6.3%, and 5.9%, respectively.
The next day, the magazine show Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho topped the chart with 19.4% and was followed by Amazing Earth with 17.6%, Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko with 14.5%, and 24 Oras Weekend with 12.4%.
With about a 5% gap, the latter was followed by On Record (7.2%), then Stories of Hope came next with 5.2%, and Kapuso Movie Festival with 5.1%.
Completing the Top 10 are comedy-themed shows, The Boobay and Tekla Show with 4.9%, Dear Uge with 4.7%, and GMA Blockbuster with 4.4%.
As ABS-CBN, GMA Network’s greatest rival, bids farewell from free TV, GMA Network now easily dominates the leaderboards considering their reach nationwide.
