Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards announced the reason behind his viral thirst trap photos on Instagram—the Kapuso hunk actor is preparing for the big transformation of his character Louie on The World Between Us.
A topless photograph of Richards has reached more than 180,000 likes on Instagram. He captioned the post with “Swipe left to reveal face.”

He also shared a photo of himself during his workout, flexing his muscles.
He posted with the caption ending with the flexed biceps emoji: “Gyming by day, gaming by night.”

“Base kasi sa umeere ngayon, mas advance ‘yung mga nakukunan naming eksena. So this is a preparation for another transition, another transformation ng character ni Louie,” Richards stated on 24 Oras.
He declared that he has been extremely working out to prepare himself to fully embody his character Louie’s transformation.
“Masarap lang din sa feeling kasi actually hindi ko naman ‘to nakuha overnight, it’s a conscious effort sa pagkain, sa pag-workout, maintaining a healthy lifestyle kahit may pandemic, kahit nasa bahay lang.. Mahirap siya,” he shared.
Richards’ muscular physique was already toned, but it was not until the latest character he was portraying that push him to beef up.
“Mahirap siya pero mas ini-enjoy ko ‘yung proseso niya. Doon pa lang, na-excite na ako kasi I’ve never done anything like this. In my 10 years in GMA, this is my first soap na ang daming transitions and there’s a change in personality, sa trait ng character, sa itsura ng character.”
