Despite network shutdown and limited audience reach, ABS-CBN’s longest-running action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continues to soar.
The Coco Martin-starrer series achieved good figures based on the rating chart of AGB Nielsen. On August 13, the show garnered a 10.0% audience share, ranking fourth on the list.
On August 16, its rating increased to 11.1% and still ranking fourth with online views of around 900k to 1.2M on YouTube.
On August 17, the show improved its rating with an 11.5% audience share with around 900k to 1.3M views on YouTube.
On August 19, the show maintained a rating of 11.5% and rose to third place. Its YouTube views also increased to a range of 1.3M to 1.8M.
Aside from maintaining its reign in terms of online views, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is also consistent in TV ratings.
The series currently airs on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and TV5, and compared to GMA Network, which has around 60 stations nationwide, the said channels’ reach is limited.
Despite the limitations, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is still capable of keeping up with the competition.
Before the pandemic and the shut down of ABS-CBN, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano used to be the consistent number one program nationwide. It also led to the show’s extension.
Recently, Jane De Leon left the show for Darna, and as announced previously, Julia Montes, the rumored girlfriend of Martin, will join the show. It will mark the comeback of Montes to the small screen. Expectations on the series to continue its way to the top.
