Cassy Legaspi admitted that although she loved working with her First Yaya love team Joaquin Domagoso, she’s open to other on-screen partners.
“Honestly, I really enjoy working with JD, kasi we were friends naman since before. Tapos, I’m super comfortable with him. And in a way, I guess parang we grew up together kasi sa set we always help each other out. So I would really love to work with JD again.
“I guess I’m open din naman to working with other people. And, gusto kong gawin ‘yun. I want to work with other people din. Ayun parang for a change naman.”
During the media conference for her endorsement with Palmolive, Legaspi recalled her experience working with Domagoso on the set of First Yaya.
“Well, in terms of chemistry, personally, I didn’t struggle with him [Domagoso]. Parang okay naman kaming dalawa.
“I guess it’s more on with the language sa Tagalog. We really help each other there, na. Si JD kasi, he talks so fast.
“Tapos ako naman sometimes I get frustrated because parang kulang ‘yung emotion ko. So si JD naman will be there to comfort me.
“We never fought. We never had a disagreement sa buong lock-in. So it’s really just helping each other out.”
Aside from working with other on-screen partners, Legaspi also said she’s open to having a permanent love team with Domagoso.
“Okay, naman po. I’m really okay naman if it’s JD kasi nga po we’re comfortable with each other, and he’s a good person, he’s a good friend.”
Legaspi and Domagoso’s chemistry stood out when they starred in GMA Network’s series First Yaya. Earlier, the two shared giddy-filled stories between them while filming the Kapuso series.
As for Cassy, her latest career milestone is her endorsement with Palmolive making her one of the shampoo brand’s Palmolive Girls.
