ABS-CBN News broadcast journalist Karen Davila admitted that she is guilty of being too energetic after her interview with Lyca Gairanod trended.
Davila and Gairanod became an instant meme online after their video went viral on Monday, August 16.
In the clip, Davila asked Gairanod when her birthday is, and she was ecstatic to discover that they have the same birthday.
Their video landed on Twitter Philippines’ list of trending topics as netizens found the interaction funny.
In Davila’s Instagram post on Tuesday, August 17, she expressed guilt as she said that she is aware of how energetic she can be.
“MONDAY #StressReliever 🤣 Of all the memes I saw today… guilty ako dito!
“Friends always ask me, “Karen, where do you get the energy?” 😂 Inaantok na lahat, hyper pa rin ako! LOL,” she said.

The photo showed a screenshot of her interview with Gairanod along with the caption “We all have that one friend na parang nakalunok ng kalahating kilong vitamins sa taas ng energy.”
Davila then thanked the people who watched her YouTube episode with Gairanod.

Even Davila reacted to her video and admitted that she can’t stop laughing after watching it.
