Thaddeus Lin’s latest single release, ‘Grass Field’, is available on all major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple music, Deezer, Amazon etc.) on 13th August 2021. Listen here.
‘Grass Field’ is a dreamy nostalgic lullaby that brings listeners into a state of tranquility. It conveys a sense of nonchalance in escaping societal pressures and to allow oneself to embark on a quiet getaway, gradually arriving at a state of solace. The track is a blend of ebb and flow of plucked guitars paired with a unique poem-like ‘3 verses’ structure. ‘Grass Field’ details the beauty in unwinding by using music and atmospheric ambient sounds to ease weary souls. This track is a sequel to the previous chapters – ‘Hey Son’, ‘Mornin’ Song’ & ‘Runaway’. All of which are songs that celebrate the outliers that won the courage to run away to a better place, paving a story of not wanting to grow up surrounded by the pressures of society.
“Our hands are warming up now, as we travel till our feet hurts”
Quoted from ‘Grass Field’ verse, reminding listeners that the journey to the end point might not be easy, but it will be worth it.
‘Grass Field’ is the fourth release of a full-length Indie-Folk album that Thaddeus will be releasing throughout this year – something along the lines of growing up. Follow him on all socials to get a first-hand experience in the storytelling sequence along his other overwhelmingly familiar songs.
