Wowowin host, Willie Revillame respects celebrities who opted to shift to other networks.
Currently, there is a trade-off of celebrities from different networks.
However, as celebrities move to other networks, they also become targets of criticisms by netizens who do not understand their motivations.
Willie pleads to the public to stop judging artists who decided to shift to another network.
“Kung may magdesisyong mga artista na lumipat, may sari-sarili tayong buhay, sari-sariling desisyon so, pabayaan natin kung saan sila masaya.”
Mostly, Kapamilya artists move to other networks because of ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
Due to the need to earn a living and sustain their families, the artists shifted to other networks.
Willie then told GMA artists that his show is open for them if they wish to guest in his program.
“Sa lahat po ng mga artists sa GMA, sa lahat ng mga singers, magtext lang kayo kung gusto n’yo mag guest dito para mapakita n’yo yung talent niyo.”
Revillame started his career via GMA Network’s show Lunch Date.
His biggest break in showbiz was when he hosted the show Wowowee from 2005 to 2010. After a controversy, he left ABS-CBN and moved to TV5 to produce a similar show titled Willing-willie, which ran from 2010-2013.
He then moved again to GMA Network in 2015, and he established the show Wowowin, which is running in the same network until now.
He already managed to move around the three biggest networks in the country. He understands the reason why some celebrities move to other networks.
