“My God! Isang taon na po ang nakalipas pero nakatindig pa rin tayo ha!” TV host-comedian and phenomenal box office star Vice Ganda exclaimed in pure joy on ABS-CBN’s continuous soaring despite the trying times and amid the year-long of not having a franchise for the network.
Although ABS-CBN is still yet to get granted a franchise renewal once discussed in Congress, Vice Ganda got elated about his home growing and surviving the challenge it faces.
“Dati sobra akong nalulungkot, talagang nadudurog puso ko. Pero ngayon sumasaya na ako,” Vice Ganda said.
“Parang the pain that I felt before is giving me strength right now.
“Inakala natin na tuluyan na talaga tayong tumumba, durog na durog, na maibabaon pero nakatayo at unti-unting umaangat.
“Yung patuloy nating pagsasama-sama, nakakataba ng puso. Ako, kung tutulo man luha ko, tutulo na yung luha ko na may kasamang ngiti at saya, punong-puno ng pag-asa,” the TV host shared.
“One year na po yan, and we are still here not just surviving but thriving for you madlang pipol,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Unkabogable Star conveyed his message to those who are spreading fake news online. With the proliferation of issues concerning him and other artists who transferred to other networks, Vice has spoken his stand.
“Hindi kami galit sa mga lumipat katulad ng pinapalabas n’yong tsismis sa social media. Hoy 2021 na, ang cheap-cheap ng trabaho n’yo. Cheap n’yo,” Vice bravely called the attention of those he is referring to.
On his twitter account, the mainstay Kapamilya host posted his sentiment toward the never-ending spread of fake news online.
“Kadiri tong FAKE NEWS na to!!!!! Pero mas KADIRI yung mga sumakay!!!! Pero PINAKA KADIRI yung mga sumusweldo at kumikita sa FAKE NEWS!!!” he added.

Of all the issues and controversies facing the TV host-comedian, he still remains grateful for everything that has been part of ABS-CBN’s survival and thriving in the past months and days to come.
He extended his thanks to A2Z Channel 11 and TV5 which never doubted the Kapamilya network’s mission and vision.
“Ang laki ng puso ng A2Z na binigyan tayo ng extra bahay. Pati na rin sa TV5, maraming salamat at pinatuloy nyo ang mga programa ng ABS-CBN dyan sa inyong istasyon,” grateful Vice Ganda said.
“Parehas silang naniniwala na hindi pwedend mahinto ang pagbibigay lingcod ng ABS-CBN sa buong mundo,” he added.
