Toni Gonzaga reveals the most challenging thing about being a Pinoy Big Brother housemate and talks about the identity of ‘Kuya’.
In an interview with Wil Dasovich, Toni shared her experience inside the PBB house.
Wil, who is also a former housemate, asked if Toni knows how Big Brother looks like.
Toni said yes then Wil said that he also knows about the identity of Kuya. Wil was about to say something else but, Toni signaled to keep quiet, and then they both laughed.
The identity of Big Brother is one of the mysteries of the showbiz industry. Though there are rumors about who he is, ABS-CBN has no official confirmation about his identity.
Toni is one of the mainstay hosts of the reality show. But, she entered as a house guest on the 15th day of PBB: Celebrity Edition 2. Days after, she was allowed to leave the house, and before leaving, she made a poem for the housemates and thanked them for their short time together.
In the same interview, Wil said that his journey inside the PBB house is harder than his battle against cancer, and Toni agreed in such a crazy comparison.
According to Toni, the hardest part of being a housemate is showing your authentic or truest self as you become vulnerable.
“Being true to yourself is scary because you know you will be judged by people.”
The two then pointed out that as much as you want to hide your authentic personality, it is inevitable that your true colors will shine during your stay in PBB.
Wil was the last to enter the house during the Civilian Chapter of Pinoy Big Brother 7.
He was given the moniker of The Cool-It Vlogger of Pampanga, which means naughty vlogger.
During his stay, he was nominated seven times but finished as 16th placer overall.
Last year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise, Pinoy Big Brother: Connect still became successful despite being unplanned. Liofer Pinatacan was hailed as the big winner of the said season.
