After the controversial relationship between Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson came to an end in July 2019, the two seemed to have settled down as they both found themselves in a new relationship.
Alonzo is rumored to be in a relationship with Dominic Roque, while Anderson is currently in a relationship with Julia Barretto.
Recently, photos of Alonzo and Roque have been spreading online, sparking relationship rumors.
Veteran journalist Lolit Solis noted that the spread of photos of the rumored couple came out in perfect timing after Anderson and Barretto went public with their relationship already.
“Iyon matter of timing na nga lang siguro ang hinintay nila. Hinintay muna nila na mauna iyon paglabas ng mga photos nila Gerald Anderson at Julia Barretto, tapos saka nila pinayagan ilabas naman iyon silang dalawa nila Dominic Roque at Bea Alonzo,” said Solis.
She said that the Bea-Dominic and Julia-Gerald relationship just waited for the perfect timing in going public with their relationship.
“Kasi nga maingay iyon ghosting ni Gerald kay Bea, nag deny muna sila Gerald at Julia, alangan naman bigla meron pala Dominic si Bea. Pare pareho silang naghintay ng timing sa paglalabas ng bago nilang relasyon, para kahit paano hindi maging violent ang reaction ng mga fans nila,” she said.

To recall, Alonzo and Anderson’s breakup was claimed to be because of a third party. The actress accused Anderson of “ghosting” her. When asked to clarify their relationship status, Alonzo bared, “he just started not talking to me.”
Julia Barretto’s name came up as the third party as she was in the same movie as Anderson called Between Maybes (2019).
Barretto previously denied these allegations saying that Alonzo is bullying her.
In March 2020, Anderson denied the accusation that he “ghosted” his ex-girlfriend and even noted that their relationship was toxic.
In April 2020, Alonzo stood by her claim of Anderson’s “ghosting” towards her. She also revealed that the actor gaslighted her.
Anderson then posted a photo of an unnamed woman in June 2020, which netizens claimed was his way of revealing his new relationship.
In the first month of 2021, Barretto posted a photo of her new puppy with a man’s arm slightly seen in the driver’s seat. Many claimed that it was Anderson’s.
In March, Anderson and Barretto made their relationship public when the actress posted a sweet photo of them along with her birthday message to the actor.
Anderson also confirmed their relationship during his interview with Boy Abunda.
Bea Alonzo has stayed away from the issue since it peaked in 2019. With Anderson and Barretto confirming their relationship, Alonzo is being linked with Dominic Roque. It was said that she and Roque started dating in 2020.
Roque previously posted a photo hinting that he is seeing the now Kapuso actress. With a caption: “tila ako’y nabighani…♥️”

In April 2021, Alonzo confirmed dating rumors with Roque but noted that they are not officially together yet.
Just recently, Alonzo flexed her rumored boyfriend on her Instagram account.
The video showed Alonzo and Roque at a camping site.
Although Alonzo and Roque did not confirm anything yet, speculations say that the two are already in a romantic relationship.
