On Monday, July 5, The World Between Us successfully made its pilot episode trended online.
Based on the data of the first and second episodes, the series increased its audience rating by 0.5%.
The show also managed to rank second in the top 20 rating leaderboards for two consecutive days.
As of this writing, The World Between Us pilot episode garnered more than 134,000 views on YouTube; meanwhile, the second episode got viewed over 97,000 times.
The World Between Us replaced the rom-com series First Yaya which auspiciously maintained a number one spot in the most-watched weekday shows both TV and online.
Now that The World Between Us replaced the successful soap, the ratings played proximate to its rival from ABS-CBN–FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on its premiere episode.
Although limited and small reception, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano still plays well on its viewership.
Meanwhile, GMA Network has a total of 52 stations nationwide, which is equivalent to a total of more than 80 million viewers. There is no doubt that their shows will hit the top in the ratings.
Given all the pressures and comparisons–The World Between Us still reigned on its timeslot. It made a good mark on its first and second episodes.
