Kapamilya stars Rhys Miguel and Kaori Oinuma reacted to KaoRhys fans’ effort with the #ToChiko Billboard.
During the blog conference for the finale of He’s Into Her, Miguel and Oinuma shared their appreciation for the fans’ effort in setting up the #ToChiko Billboard.
“Ako naman super out of the ball park talaga ‘yung support ng mga fans talaga. Not just ‘yung mga KaoRhys fans pero lahat noong mga HIH fans. Lagi trending, lagi everything ginagawa talaga nila.
“Pero, to do a billboard, sobrang laking bagay talaga. Super grateful sa lahat ng mga fans. Yan din ‘yung first time na nakita ni Kaori ‘yung face n’ya d’yan,” said Miguel.
“Super blessed kami na mayroon kaming KaoRhys supporters na sobra sobra kung magmahal. Grabe, so super grateful kami sa kanila. At syempre, lahat din ng He’s Into Her supporters,” Oinuma added.
Miguel also recalled how he drove Oinuma to see the promotional billboard (50×60) for He’s Into Her with the #KaoRhys located in South Luzon Expressway.
“Kumakain lang kami ng mga gifts na pinadala ng KaoRhys fans sa kanya for her birthday, ‘yung mga cakes, ‘yung mga sushi and stuff.
“Tapos naisip namin baka mawawala ‘yung billboard na like soon na so, ‘let’s go and see it na.’ Tapos biglaan na lang kahit umulan, kahit medyo madilim na nag-decide kami na pupuntahan namin ‘yung billboard.”
Oinuma said she appreciated Miguel’s effort in showing her the billboard.
“‘Yung oras pa lang na binigay n’ya para ihatid ako doon sa billboard tapos sinamahan n’ya akong tignan ‘yung billboard. Parang sabay nga kaming nagpa-ulan noon eh.”
Miguel and Oinuma also shared how they invoked the kilig with each other, with Miguel admitting he felt giddier with their scenes.
“Laglag ko na ‘yung sarili ko dito. Wala namang kilig na scene na hindi totoo ‘yung kilig ko.
“I’m the one trying to make her kilig pero ako ‘yung nakilig tapos ‘yung smile ko nasobrahan daw,” Miguel shared.
“Di ko nga po alam noong una kung paano ko s’ya pakikiligin. So naghanap ako ng katulong, ‘uy paano ko s’ya pakikiligin? Magpa-cute ka!’ Kasi yung sinasabi nilang ganyan.
“So nagpa-cute ako sa kanya, na parang nagha-heart sign ako sa kanya. Kumikindat ako sa kanya,” Oinuma revealed.
The season finale of He’s Into Her, which stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, drops on Friday, July 30, on iWanTFC. Following their 10th episode, the cast will also have an online concert, He’s Into Her: The Benison Ball, on August 6.
